1 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the App or related services (including any AI chat features), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2 Who We Are
Koby is owned and operated by Krava Technologies Private Limited, an Indian company.
3 Eligibility and Children
- The App is a family-friendly pet-care application intended for general audiences, including families and first-time pet owners.
- Children under 13 may use the App only under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- If you are a parent/guardian and believe a child has used the App without your consent, contact us at admin@kravalabs.com.
4 Account Registration and Security
You may create an account using:
- Email + password
- Sign in with Apple
- Google Sign-In
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information and keep it updated
- Keep credentials confidential
- Notify us promptly of unauthorized access
We may suspend or restrict accounts to protect users, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or prevent fraud/abuse.
5 Subscriptions and Payments (Freemium)
5.1 Freemium model
Koby is a freemium service. Some features are available free, while premium features require a paid subscription.
5.2 In-app purchases and auto-renewal
If you subscribe through Apple App Store or Google Play:
- Payment is processed by Apple/Google (not by Krava).
- Subscriptions usually auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date in your store settings.
- Price, renewal frequency, and trial terms (if any) are shown before purchase.
5.3 Cancellations and refunds
- Manage/cancel via your Apple ID or Google Play account subscription settings.
- Refunds follow Apple/Google policies unless local law requires otherwise.
5.4 Changes to plans
We may change subscription offerings, features, or pricing. Where required, we will provide notice in advance.
6 Pet/Health Disclaimer (Not Veterinary Advice)
6.1 Not a veterinarian
Koby and Krava are not veterinary professionals and do not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or emergency services.
6.2 Informational content only
Any content in the App - including reminders, schedules, educational material, or AI-generated responses - is for general informational purposes only.
6.3 You are responsible for decisions
You are solely responsible for your decisions regarding your pet's care. If your pet appears unwell or has urgent symptoms, contact a licensed veterinarian immediately.
6.4 No guarantees
We do not guarantee outcomes, improvements, or the suitability/accuracy of any content, reminders, routines, or AI outputs.
7 AI Features Disclaimer and Safety Rules
Koby may include an in-app AI chat or other AI-powered features ("AI Features").
7.1 AI can be wrong
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, outdated, or inappropriate. AI is not a substitute for professional advice.
7.2 Do not share sensitive information
Do not share passwords, payment details, government IDs, or other sensitive personal data in AI chats.
7.3 Safety and compliance
You must not use AI Features to:
- generate illegal content or instructions,
- impersonate someone,
- harass or exploit others,
- attempt to obtain secrets or bypass security.
We may restrict AI Features or remove content to protect users or comply with law.
7.4 Third-party AI providers
AI Features are powered by third-party large language model (LLM) providers. These providers may change from time to time at Krava's discretion to improve quality, safety, availability, or cost.
When you use AI Features, your inputs (and, if you choose to enable it, limited relevant context such as pet profile details) may be processed by these third-party providers solely to generate responses and operate the feature.
AI Features are provided "as is." We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or continued support of any particular AI provider or model.
8 User Content (UGC) and Community Standards
The App may allow you to submit content (text, images, pet photos, posts, comments, etc.) ("User Content").
8.1 You own your User Content; you give us a limited license
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Krava a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting/safety), display, and distribute your User Content only as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App (including moderation and enforcing these Terms).
8.2 You are responsible for what you submit
You represent that you have the rights to submit your User Content and it does not violate law or third-party rights.
8.3 No obligation to monitor; right to moderate
We may (but do not have to) review, remove, or restrict User Content. We may take action against accounts for violations. We do not guarantee that all harmful content will be removed.
8.4 Reporting objectionable content
If you see content you believe violates these Terms, report it using in-app reporting tools (if available) or email admin@kravalabs.com.
9 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights
- Harass, bully, threaten, or exploit others
- Post unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App
- Bypass security or access non-public areas
- Upload malware or harmful code
- Misuse notifications, messaging, or community features
10 Third-Party Services
The App may integrate third-party services such as analytics tools, authentication providers, cloud hosting, and push notifications (e.g., AWS, Firebase, Mixpanel, Metabase, Expo, Apple/Google sign-in). Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Krava is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
11 Availability, Changes, and Beta Features
11.1 No uptime guarantee
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
11.2 Changes and discontinuation
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including free features.
11.3 Beta/experimental features
Some features may be labeled beta/experimental and may not work reliably.
12 Account Deletion and Data Handling
You may request account deletion through the in-app deletion option and/or by contacting admin@kravalabs.com.
We may retain certain information when required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcing these Terms, and where possible we retain it in anonymized or aggregated form.
13 Intellectual Property
The App and all related content (excluding User Content) are owned by Krava or its licensors and protected by law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law.
14 Feedback
If you submit suggestions or feedback, you grant Krava the right to use it without restriction or compensation.
15 Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or meet your requirements.
Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Krava (and its directors, employees, affiliates, partners, suppliers) will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
- Krava's total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid to Krava for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or
- INR 5,000.
This applies regardless of legal theory and even if we were advised of the possibility of damages.
17 Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Krava from claims arising out of:
- your misuse of the App,
- your User Content,
- your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
18 Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect users, comply with law, or maintain security. You may stop using the App at any time.
19 Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
20 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., in-app). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

22 App Store / Play Store Additional Terms
22.1 Apple (iOS) specific terms
- These Terms are between you and Krava, not Apple.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligations for the App.
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
22.2 Google Play specific terms
Your use of the App via Google Play is also subject to Google Play terms and policies. In case of conflict regarding billing, refunds, and subscriptions, Google Play terms govern.
